Good Luck Reagan Spirit Seniors!

Submitted By Cari Goodyear

As the school year has ended, the Reagan High School senior spirit members have graduated and are now moving on to new adventures. It has been a pleasure watching their enthusiasm as they entertained the crowds with their dazzling cheer and dance moves throughout their years at Reagan High School. They have developed lasting memories through late nights and early morning practices, camp experiences, and the love, sweat, and tears they have shared together.

Congratulations to the 26 Seniors Cheerleaders as they move on to fulfill their next chapter. The Senior Cheerleaders include: Kaitlyn Ammon, McKenna Hastings, Madison Moore, Taylor Mzyk, Maddie Polanco, and Ryan Schaner, who will be continuing her cheerleading career at SMU.

Congratulations to the Senior Dancers: Liliana Almendarez, Lauren Asher, Elisabeth Beltran, Annabelle Blaylock (who will be a Power Dancer at UT-Dallas), Ana Garza, Nicole Garza, Courtney Goren, Isabella Haua, Daniela Hayn, Elizabeth Heine, Audra Hernandez, Sarah Hockley, Alexis Johnson, Mackenzie Magness, Magaly Martinez, Myejoi Milam, Diana Ocman, Natalie Ravlin, Madeline Townsend, and Emma Wood.

The Reagan Spirit Board also revealed the names of the selected spirit seniors to receive a $500 college scholarship. The award winners were chosen from submitted applications based upon their outstanding academic records, volunteer and community services, other school involvement, as well as from teacher recommendations. This year’s Spirit Club College Scholarship Award winners are: Isabella Haua (Silver Star) attending UTSA; Natalie Ravlin (Silver Star) attending Texas A&M; Ryan Schaner (Varsity Cheerleader) attending SMU; and Madeline Townsend (Sliver Star) attending the University of Oklahoma. These young ladies have unselfishly given of themselves to make Reagan Spirit such a successful program. The entire Reagan community is very proud of their accomplishments.

These outstanding seniors have demonstrated dedication and loyalty to their school, athletics department, and most of all, to the spirit program. All of the spirit program coaches, parents, and supports wish them much success as they move forward in pursuit of their dreams.
