LibraryPalooza 2017!

Library Paloza 2017

Special To Welcome Home

“LibraryPalooza, That Author Thing!” an author festival for teens, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Brandeis HS. This year’s event will include authors Jay Asher, Faith Erin Hicks, Lauren Kate, Alex London, Lauren Oliver, and Lisa Yee. The 2016 event was a huge success. The author panel was truly inter-active and allowed attendees to participate. 2016 LibraryPalooza also featured author break-out sessions. Check out the website to see what fun and exciting things will go this year!

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase books on site (or bring from home) and have them signed by the authors. Although geared toward middle and high school students, the event is open to anyone. There is no cost for the event and no advanced registration is required. Food will be provided for purchase (cash only) via food trucks during the lunch break in the back-bus loop. A percentage of all sales will go to Friends of Northside Libraries. The program is made possible in part by contributions from the Northside Libraries, and is sponsored by the Friends of Northside Libraries. For more information on the schedule and the authors, go to their website.  Updates about the event will be posted on Twitter @NISD_LibPalooza and Instagram @LibraryPalooza, and their Facebook page.
