Library’s Art Time Exhibit Displays Student Work
Submitted By Liliya Colston
The popular “Art Time” program held its sixth annual exhibit opening at the Bulverde/Spring Branch Library on January 21. “Art Time” is a children’s educational program that develops creative thinking through art. Classes take place at Hobby Lobby Stone Oak and Creekside Way stores, Comal ISD schools, through Community Ed, and on Hill Country Christian Homeschoolers PAC Days.
Sixty young artists submitted artwork they created during their participation in “Art Time” classes and while attending art and science summer camps.
This year’s “Art Time” exhibit consisted of watercolors, foil, pastels, acrylics, and clay. The artwork was on display though February 18. Hopefully, you were able to stop by the library and see these wonderful pieces. If you would like to learn more about the “Art Time” program and its philosophy, visit ArtTimeParty.com.
