Participate In The First Annual Panther Challenge
Submitted By Cindy Cardenas
The First Annual Panther Challenge is in full swing at Jose M. Lopez Middle School! This year, the school decided to go a different route for their yearly fundraiser. Instead of selling cookie dough, Lopez students will participate in monthly school wide competitions between grade levels. The exciting competitions will help each grade level earn their chance to win the Panther Cup culminating in a school wide field day on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 for final challenges. The Panther Challenge will take place during school hours. Donations will be used towards schoolwide programming and events, classroom technology, needed equipment, and much more. All student-raised donations will go directly toward improving academics, achievement and the learning environment.
In order to make the Panther Challenge successful, the Lopez community is encouraging 100 percent participation from students, local community and businesses. There are various levels of sponsorship available so that everyone can help make the Panther Challenge a success. The deadline for all sponsorships and donations is January 26, 2018. This is truly a community wide event! If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or donating to the Panther Challenge, please visit the school website at www.neisd.net/lopez to download the appropriate form or email email@example.com. Thank you for your support of Lopez Middle School!
