Roan Forest Transformed Into A Living History Museum
Submitted By Lisa Watson
As part of Roan Forest’s Leaders Trailblazing Through Time day on November 17, 2017, fifth graders transformed the cafeteria into a Living History Museum. To enhance the unit of study in American History, Roan Forest fifth graders were assigned a famous Revolutionary era person to research.
The students spent several weeks researching, creating a visual board, writing a speech, and finally presenting themselves dressed as these important figures. Parents and grandparents, community members, and other Roan Forest students were impressed with these historic portrayals.
