The businesses you see on the Sponsors page (click
here to download a PDF of sponsors with clues of where they are located)
are sponsoring the Stone Oak Winter Festival. Each business listed,
unless otherwise noted, will be part of this year’s “Pilgrimage
Through Stone Oak Scavenger Hunt.”
What is the scavenger hunt? It is a chance for you to find the business
and stop in the month of November and prior to the days of December 2,
2006. Each sponsor wants you to find them — you will be rewarded
with a gift or goodie from each.
How
it Works
Beginning November 1, 2006, you will take a 8.5x11 sheet of paper (click
here to download card), or use the largest excess holiday card you
have. You will take the card to as many of the businesses listed and have
it stamped by that business. You may staple additional sheets when you
run out of room on one.
Basic
Rules
•
You must bring a new unwrapped toy to the Winter Festival in order to
be eligible to enter th e general and grand prize drawings at the event.
•
The card must include your name, address and phone number.
• There is no obligation to buy anything at any of the stores or
businesses.
•
Children must be accompanied by an adult during the Scavenger Hunt.
•
One entry per person.
• You will automatically get a FREE gift or goodie
from each participating business you visit.
• When you turn in your card at the Stone Oak Winter Festival, you
will receive a raffle ticket for each sponsor visited. For example,
if you visit 12 stores, you will receive 12 tickets to be entered into
the General Prize Drawing (prizes ranging from gift certificates from
local restaurants, salon and spas, gift baskets and more).
• As an extra bonus, for every 15 businesses that you visit, you
will receive a Grand Prize raffle ticket to be entered into the Grand
Prize drawing.

All cards must be turned in by 5:00 pm. the day of the Winter Festival
to be entered in the Grand Prize Drawings.
• You must be present to win for the drawings.
The Grand Prize is a $1,000 Shopping Spree donated by Welcome
Home.
The Second Place Grand Prize is a $500 Shopping Spree, donated by The
Laurels and The Haven.
The Third Place Grand Prize is a $300 COSTCO Gift Card.
The Fourth Place Grand Prize is a $250 Gift Basket, donated by Bealls
Department Store in the Vineyard Shopping Center.
The Fifth Place Grand Prize is a $200 IPOD donated by Randolph
Brooks Federal Credit Union.
The Grand Prize drawing will take place at 6 p.m., following the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Primrose School located on Knights Cross.
Be ready to start November 1, 2006. You have all month until December 2 to get your stamps.
